LAI blames YUKO for being too nosy but YUKO claims that it is the best way to win HEI back. LAI starts to believe her. Knowing that MARCO is marrying, HEI gets so depressed. She and LOK, who is also depressed for some reason, go to the pub for a pint. She drinks herself into a stupor and refuses to go home. LOK has no choice but to bring her back to his home. YAN is surprised to learn that LOK has given up his dream as a noodle chef just for the sake of money. To realize his dream, she tries to borrow money from LAI so that she can set up a noodle shop and hire LOK as the chef. As a friend of LOK, LAI agrees to the request.
