Δυο εθελοντές μιας ΜΚΟ, ο Μαμπρού και ο Μπι, προσπαθούν να βγάλουν ένα πτώμα από ένα πηγάδι, έχοντας τη βοήθεια του διερμηνέα Νταμίρ και της πρωτάρας Σόφι. Μόνον που στο φλέγον βοσνιακό έδαφος τίποτα δεν είναι απλό... Η αναζήτηση ενός κομματιού σχοινιού, η άφιξη μιας γυναίκας που έχει ανεξόφλητους ερωτικούς λογαριασμούς με τον Μαμπρού και η χαμένη μπάλα ενός παιδιού γίνονται οι αφορμές για το ξεδίπλωμα ιλαροτραγικών καταστάσεων με φόντο το σεληνιακό μετεμφυλιακό τοπίο.
