Περικλής Χούρσογλου
Studies He was born in Athens in 1955. He studied at the School of Mathematics of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, at the same time he studied "Directing" at the Lykourgos Stavrakos School. He has attended screenwriting and production workshops and seminars. With the script of his second feature film, "The Gentleman in Grey", he participated in the "Sources" workshop of the EU Media program. The script was analyzed by Jan Fleischer. With the scripts of his films: "Eyes from Night" and "The Manager", he participated in the script workshops of the "Mediterranean Film Institute" (MFI). Jan Fleischer was the script analyst for both of these films. He speaks English and French. Artistic work Assistant Director: From 1976 to 1992 he worked as an assistant director alongside the directors: George Panousopoulos, Andrea Thomopoulos, Alexis Damiano, Takis Papagiannidis, but mainly alongside Pantelis Voulgaris. Documentary director: He directed documentaries for the shows "Athens is not only Greece", "E.R.T. in Northern Greece", "The E.R.T. all over Greece", "Small portraits", "Background". In 2011, he wrote and directed the 13-episode documentary series "I met happy craftsmen" for ET-1. In 2013, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the liberation of Kavala, he wrote and directed the documentary "Kavala - Reflections of yesterday, transformations of today".
