CHOR and SHUN overhear LAM analysing their positions in HO’s heart to HO. CHOR leaves sadly. FAI arranges a hotel room for KIU, so that she can take better care of HO. However, they meet SHUM on the way and SHUM is consumed with jealousy. KIU presents ideas to FAI to get SHUM’s forgiveness. FAI refuses because he feels he owes KIU too much. SHUM and FAI receive a fax saying that their son HONG has been kidnapped. SHUM insists that KIU is responsible, but the real culprit is CHI. CHI is doubly frustrated because his factory has closed down and his wife has left him. HONG finds a chance to escape and calls SHUN for help. He is then recaptured by CHI. Everyone goes to Yuen Long to rescue HONG. SHUN and CHOR find HONG by following his cries. KIU manages to rescue HONG by cheating CHI. Meanwhile, CHI pushes SHUN and CHOR off the building. HO rushes to see CHOR and this makes SHUN unhappy. CHOR feels sorry afterward.
