KING SUEN finds something in the cakes CHUN sent. He visits her at the Western Palace right away. LADY TSU has been staying at her sister’s for a few days now but LORD SHUN YEUNG never visits her. LAI, her brother-in-law, is of the view that she should support LORD SHUN YEUNG. CHUN and SHUN-CHI decide to teach LADY TSU a good lesson with ointment. To thank her for her contribution to the state, QUEEN DOWAGER intends to erect a statue to YIM. YIM suggests holding a “Virtuous and Talented Woman Contest”. YIM’s birthmark is ulcerating.
