CHOU YUE manages to have WONG KOI infiltrated in TSO’s camp by stratagem. Suspecting that KOI’s follower PONG TUNG is only pretending to surrender, HON LEUNG decides to find out the truth by inflicting harsh punishments on him. While meeting SHUN YUK and the rest of the significant ministers, YEE discovers that SHUN has been lying about his origin. Consumed with anger, TSO decides to have SHUN and YAU executed. In the nick of time, SHUN claims that he has a winning strategy to share with TSO. SHUN proposes using the interlinking strategy so as to facilitate TSO’s naval attack. To make sure that YAU is by his side during the war, SHUN asks for TSO’s permission to bring her to the battlefield. TSO is going to send SHUN YUK to the battlefield, but HON LEUNG offers to take the job for the Chief Counselor.
