Als de zeventienjarige Nakaido Hirosuke op een ochtend op weg naar school op het treinstation arriveert, ziet hij een mooi meisje, Ajimu Yasuna, op wie hij op slag verliefd wordt. Maar zijn eerste pogingen om dichter bij haar te komen lopen uit op een fiasco. Niettemin komen de twee dichter bij elkaar en worden ze vrienden, zonder dat Hirosuke zijn gevoelens aan haar durft te bekennen - vooral omdat hij niet zeker weet wat de hare is. Omdat Yasuna nog steeds gehecht is aan haar vriend, die haar twee jaar geleden verliet. Maar dan zet een ander meisje de eerste stap richting Hirosuke...
